Visit with Carly!!!

In mid-August one of my dreams came true, in that my little sister Carly came out to Nebraska to visit me for a week! I was still on maternity leave so was able to spend lots of time with her. We had a blast! I love that we have reconnected after many years apart (which was out of our control). It was amazing to see how well we got along and how much of a bond we still have after all this time, but it made me kind of sad for the time that we missed out on. We are hoping to make this visit an annual deal! Here are some highlights from our faboulous time together...

We spent an afternoon at the Science Museum in Sioux Falls. So fun! Jack was fascinated with dropping balls down the "tornado". Unsure why he wouldn't take off his sunglasses...

Time at the lake...we spent over half of her visit up at Lake Madison. Talking under the covered porch, tubing, jet skiing, eating delicious treats such as Oatmeal Creme Pies and Lucky Charms...
